“Big Irish” Jay Hollingsworth is a baby-faced giant who started his comedy career in Boston before moving to Seattle where he quickly became a well-known face in the comedy scene. His quick wit and high energy performances immediately make you feel like you’re sharing a beer with a friend… a very hilarious, uncensored friend.
At 6 feet 8 inches tall, Jay stands out in the comedy world by speaking on a range of topics from his love of comic books, to the 10 years he taught martial arts, to being a self proclaimed “mutant”. No matter what the topic, Jay’s unique views will leave you rolling in the aisles.
Jay has been a featured guest on some of the top rated podcasts in the country including Greg Fitzsimmon’s “Fitzdog Radio” (twice) and Doug Benson’s “Doug Loves Movies” (3 times). Jay was fortunate enough to be a part of Doug’s “Doug Loves Movies: Live In the Pacific Northwest” podcast which was #1 on iTunes comedy album chart. In 2010 Jay starred in the movie “Comics BBQ” and in 2011 will be starring in the documentary “One Minute Comic”.
