From a small town of 1,500 people Brian Swinehart has captivated audiences across the country and Over Seas with his wit and charm. Swinehart hails from Ohio, but is now making a name for himself at the premier comedy clubs in Los Angeles.
A mainstay at the legendary Hollywood Improv, Swinehart has landed five movie roles and two tv pilots since his big move, and his success shows no signs of slowing.
Swinehart will be touring during 20013 and is also in pre-production for two movies he co-wrote. Rehab and Killing Santa.
Growing up in a small town has given Brian a unique and interesting stage presence. He has a Mid West flavor with a California twist.
Swinehart takes lifes difficulties and then finds the funny. Inspired by a George Carlin quote "When you laugh or you cry you are making the same motion". Swinehart also believes that the tough times in life also provide the most entertaining material.
A highlight in Swinehart's career came when he was playing a small Los Angeles bar and he saw Adam Sandler in the room watching the show. Swinehart has always respected the work of Sandler so by nature he was nervous. However he brought his best material and gave it his all. At the end of the night Sandler shook Brian's hand and said "Funny stuff man funny stuff."
