Christina Davis

Christina Davis has had a long and varied career in the entertainment industry as a stand-up comedienne, dancer, choreographer, actress, voiceover artist and television presenter.

She attended the McDonald College School of Performing Arts and studied acting at The Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles. Christina is also a graduate of Australian Ballet School and was a member of West Australian Ballet and The Monte Carlo Ballet.

In the very first season of Big Brother Australia, Christina became a household name as 'Christina Ballerina' and endeared herself to the viewing public, becoming the fourth-last housemate to be evicted and was included in Ralph Magazine’s top 100 sexiest women of the year.

That same year she had a forest planted in her name, “The Christina Ballerina Forest”, 10 000 trees in the Adelaide Murray Basin thanks to her association with environmental group Planet Ark. She also became spokesperson for their national campaign on Mobile Phone Recycling.

In 2004 she supported Jimmie “JJ” Walker at her first Melbourne International Comedy Festival and in 2006, did her first solo show, The Secret Diaries of Unnamed Fraser to sell out-audiences. Since then she has done two more solo shows for the Melbourne Festival, SEX (2007), which was also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Bite Me (2009).

Television appearances have included Stand-Up Australia (Comedy Channel), Stand-up! (ABC), Rove Live (Channel Ten), Good Morning Australia (Channel 10), FHM’s Search for Australia’s Funniest Man (Channel 10).
