Kristen Carney is a comedian and host who got into comedy unintentionally at the age of 3 when her eyes began to cross. Once her eyes were fixed, they continued to point her in the wrong direction and she began performing stand up comedy in 2008.
Her work has been featured on Deadline.com, Atom.com, Comedy Central, TLC, Someecards, Splitsider and Funny Not Slutty. She is the author of the piercingly insightful blog “Sweat the Small Stuff with Kristen” and humor column “Carney’s Comedy.”
She’s performed on stages across the country from clubs like the Improv to college campuses. She was the runner-up in Chicago´s “Laughing in the Loop” and made it from 64 comedians to the Top 8 in Los Angeles’ 2011 March Comedy Madness.
You can find Kristen at “Comedy Without a Cause,” a monthly stand up show she created and hosts at the Hollywood Improv. For more information on Kristen’s whereabouts, just check in a movie theater or a public restroom… she’s probably there.
