Valerie Jean Garduno
Valerie Jean Garduno is an Iowa-born and Colorado- raised, stand-up comedian, who splits her time between New York City and Los Angeles. She was born to a mother of Czechoslovakian descent and a father who's family hails from Mexico. Valerie enjoys poking fun at her unique family and background, her fear of dolls, getting older and life after modeling.
Valerie honed her comic skills via many years on New York's comedy circuit consistently performing at Gotham Comedy Club, Stand Up NY, The Comic Strip, The Improv, and now hosts her own Monday evening at The Comedy Store in LA.
Valerie's presently working in the independent film, Grave Secrets, other credits include multiple appearances as Miss Right on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” as well as opening “The Tyra Banks Show” as a warm-up comic. She was also a regional finalist on Season 6 of NBC's "Last Comic Standing."
She played the lead in the independent film, LA Ricochet, supporting rolls in National Lampoon's Cattle Call, Quarter Life Crises and Big Apple. She can also be seen at any given moment in a variety of national commercials.
