Director Peter Napolitano has received two MAC Awards and the 2010 BMI Bistro Award for Outstanding Cabaret Direction for his work with numerous artists at venues such as Feinstein’s at the Regency, The Metropolitan Room, Don’t Tell Mama and The Laurie Beechman Theater. His award-winning lyrics have been performed by such theatre and cabaret artists as Liz Callaway, Nancy Dussault, Tovah Feldshuh, Marni Nixon, Christiane Noll and Faith Prince. He is a member of the Advanced Songwriting and Librettist Units of the BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop and Producing Consultant for the prestigious non-profit theatre Urban Stages. He also writes and performs spoken word essays, one of which was published in the New York Times Modern Love Column.
