Ash Louis is a writer and comedian known for his smart and random style of comedy - using odd jokes, absurd stories and the occasional musical number. He has written two absurdist humor books, as well as the animated comedy pilot The Dangerous Wanderings of C. Philip Montgomery, which Louis also created and starred in and was named an Official Selection at the 2012 New York Television Festival.
Starting his career in New York as a comedian, Ash has headlined and hosted at some of the most well-known comedy shows and venues in the Northeast, including performing at the 2011 Boston Comedy Festival and the New York Underground Comedy Festival. Ash Louis is also the creator and a common performer in the monthly comedy variety show La Comedie De Parkside at Parkside Lounge in New York City's Lower East Side.
In addition to stand-up, Ash Louis has authored the absurd and hilarious book A Story Unintentional in Retrospect, and it's similarly named sequel Another Story Unintentional in Retrospect. The books can best be described as "a collection of excerpts from books that don't exist".
