Tom Flanigan

Tom Flanigan (Writer) is an Emmy-nominated comedy writer who has been writing and performing sketch comedy for 15 years. He is a founder of the Chicago sketch group The Galileo Players, with whom he wrote five shows. He also wrote and performed four revues at the Second City, including the smash hit Absolute Best Friggin’ Time of Your Life and the Jeff Award-winning Studs Terkel’s Not Working. He then went on to write for Saturday Night Live, where his sketches included the viral hit commercial “Dammit, My Mom is on Facebook Filter”, a parody of “Unstoppable”, “The Fresh Prince Lost Episodes” and several other sketches and Weekend Update pieces. He currently lives in Chicago with his lovely wife and two children.
