Jordi Vilasuso
Jordi Vilasuso grew up in Miami, FL and knew that an acting career was something that he wanted to pursue from a very young age. He started by doing community theater at around eleven years old and working in the small TV and film industry that was available in South Florida. When he was 18 years old he moved to Los Angeles and soon after New York City for a contract role on the CBS daytime drama Guiding Light. After winning an Emmy in 2003, he moved back to Los Angeles to further pursue work in other venues like film and prime time television. During his time there, he worked in both and in theater. Notably, he has starred in films such as La Linea with Andy Garcia and Esai Morales, Guest starred in programs such as CSI:Miami, and played the title role of Leonardo in Lorca's Bodas de Sangre (Blood Wedding) for the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts. Currently, he just wrapped the role of Griffin Castillo on ABC's All My Children. Jordi has closed ties to his home town of Miami and was honored this year as one of Miami Magazine's Modern Hispanic Gentlemen. The campaign is used to promote philanthropists and their charities.
