Scott Bowser

 Scott Bowser is a Los Angeles based comedian, writer and host. He began writing at Michael McCarthy’s LA Comedy Lab in 2002 and went on to become one of the original writers for Big News. In the fall of 2007 he began doing standup at open mics around the LA area. In the spring of 2008 he started what was to become Bowser’s Castle at the historic El Cid in Silverlake. In 2009 Scott won first place in the Uncle Clyde’s Comedy Contest. Scott then went on to train under Craig Anton at his renowned Comedy Academy. In the spring of 2010 he released his debut album “Scotty By Nature” available on Spotify. That summer after teaming up on the Adam Shenkman Special, Scott and fellow comic Alex Mesrobian started Red Velvet Comedy at Cranes Hollywood Tavern. The show continued until the bar was sold to make room for condos. After two shows at the Hollywood Improv Lab, Scott and Alex turned their attention to creating fresh content for the website. In 2011 Scott and Carl Lybecker started The Scotty Mouth Podcast. Amaya Perea and Cornell Reid have served as cohosts and the show continues to get critical acclaim on the comedy scene.
