Samson got his start in Chicago at the world Famous Second City theater where he appeared in several reviews. After many successful show runs, he chose to pick things up and move out west to Hollywood to pursue comedic acting full time. Since in LA Samson ran a successful show called Southpaw at the Acme Theater which recieved the LA Weekly Comedy pick of the week and ran sold out shows for over 2 years. After that, Samson starred in a variety of sketch comedy shows from the Friars Club, to the Laugh Factory, and lately to the Upright Citizens Brigade where he Produced, Wrote, Directed, and starred in a sketch comedy show called RIP THANG. RiP THANG went on to run 8 sold out months at the theater making it the only show in the history of the UCB to run this long. Following the run, RIP THANG was asked to do three shows at the world famous HBO Comedy Festival in Las Vegas where again they were met with sold out audiences. Samson has been seen and heard on the Television and radio, National Lampoon's movie "Pucked", and most recently starred in a Showtime one hour special where he wrote and starred in two of his own sketches. When it comes to sketch comedy, Crouppen has been called the "Sketch master". Samson is currently working for BiteSizeTv where he hosts his Bi-Weekly News show "Spin Cycle", and heads up Comedy Development at BiteSizeTv.
