Kasper Nelson: Shallbowie "Kasper" Nelson always dreamed of being a comedian as a family and class entertainer he grew up listening to Richard Pryor albums and watching Flip Wilson on television. Kasper would mix both comic styles and use them to perform routines for family, friends and schoolmates. By the tender age of fourteen Kasper had developed his own 20 min routine and was a working professional comic in his hometown of Knoxville, Tenn. By age sixteen Kasper armed with permission slip from his mother was a regular on open-mic nights at the famous Funny Bone comedy club in Knoxville Tenn. Before leaving home he co-headlined concerts, hosted practically every local talent event as well as opening for the late greats Roger Troutman & Zapp. After completing high school Kasper was already a veteran at getting laughs. In search of more opportunities he left home and moved to Atlanta, GA.

After seven years of open-mic nights and countless day jobs Kasper earned the respect of comedian Earthquake who booked Kasper at both of his Uptown Comedy Corner clubs in Atlanta, GA. Earthquake soon started booking Kasper as his opening act. While on tour Kasper caught the attention of King of Comedy D.L. Hugely who also booked him as an opening act. Kasper also opened for Chris Tucker, Paul Mooney, Cedric "The Entertainer", Don "DC" Curry, Jonathan Witherspoon, Monique, Sommore, Earthquake just to name a few. In 1997 Kasper won the Canadian Mist Comedy Competition, as well as advancing to the semi-finals at the Oakland Bay Area Comedy Competition to take second place to none other than Nick Cannon. This opened the door for many executives to view Kasper’s comedic styles they were still laughing when they offered Kasper his first opportunity to perform before a national audience and bring his lifelong dream of being a comic on TV into a reality.

Kasper's unforgettable appearance and storytelling brand of jokes made him an instant favorite with fans all over America. Kasper's performance earned him a 30 minute Grand Stand on BET's Comicview. Kasper has appeared every season since 1997 and is now one of the most recognizable comics in the country “people notice me everywhere I go.” This is most evident when Kasper headlines to sometimes record breaking sold-out attendances he is one of the strongest draws on the comedy circuit today. Kasper has realized his childhood dreams and is now taking on even greater ones. He has turned his focus to writing, producing and directing.

Kasper has produced and starred in a public access show entitled Kasper's Kouch which is a Jay Leno type variety show in which Kasper hosts, acts in skits and interview guests with his puppet sidekick Kissy Love snuggles. The second show Kasper produced, wrote and acted in was entitled Kasper's Raw Stand-Up it is just what it sounds like it is a show that features a variety of comedians, actors and musicians from up and coming to superstars. Kasper gave very candid interviews to his guest he writes, co-produce and co-direct on both shows. There are only great things ahead for this new and refreshing comic. Kasper will continue to bring the joy of laughter to millions of people from all walks of life.

Washington D.C.'s own comedian Earthquake born Nathaniel Stroman has carved quite a unique audience for himself. He's captured the attention of popular media icons Howard Stern and Bill Maher. He's maintained his moniker as the 'comedian's favorite comedian.'
Earthquake shakes up audiences with his high brow-common sense rhetoric as one of the most sought after comedians on the national entertainment circuit.
'This has to work, ain't no plan B,' bellows 'Quake' in his branded language. The former enlisted sergeant for the U.S. Air Force and father of three, never had a plan prior to this. In fact, this may not have even been a plan in the first place. 'I had no epiphany of one day following in Pryor's or any one else's footsteps. I just found my comfort zone at being me, and this is the result,' explains Earthquake.
After becoming a formidable talent of the mid-90's explosion of BET's ComicView and HBO's Def Comedy Jam, Quake set up shop in New Aged Black Hollywood known as Atlanta and held down the host spot as proprietor of Uptown Comedy Corner. This infamous stage propelled him to national exposure while performing to sold-out rooms and opening the door to more mainstream media.
Soon there would be room for Quake on television as he’d go on to secure a spot in 2002 on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, as well as a guest appearance on Mad TV. In 2003 his audience would see him set precedence as the first comic to command a standing ovation on the critically acclaimed, HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher. He also shot Comedy Central Presents: EARTHQUAKE! in this same year and in February 2005 he starred in Jamie Foxx's Comedy Central special Laffapalooza! hailing Earthquake as an all-time favorite. Earthquake would join HBO and sign on to develop and shoot the coveted half hour comedy series special One Night Stand in August. He'd later go on to make two memorable appearances on Comedy Central's Weekend at D.L.'s adding to a string of indelible appearances on the Viacom network.
In 2005 DVD release, About Got Damm Time an aptly titled performance film marked the crowning moment in which Earthquake would solely take the stage as an ode to his loyal fans.
From 2006 to present, Earthquake's television presence would grow more significant and spill onto the big screen. He would set ablaze in 2006 with the first of two unforgettable visits with Howard Stern on Howard TV. At the same time he was also preparing for his major motion picture appearance in Kevin Smith's cult classic sequel Clerk's II in which he would star opposite Wanda Sykes. He would continue on the big screen lending his voice to the much beloved animated film, Barnyard as Root the Rooster. During this same year, he would seize the recurring role of Uncle Mike on the CW network's Everybody Hates Chris. He would go forth blazing the television talk show craze with appearances on Michael Baisden After Dark, Comics Unleashed an additional Howard Stern appearance, and Comedy Central's Chelsea Lately.
Earthquake was supporting cast in Ice Cube's The Longshots and his mounting credits would include an unforgettable appearance on 2003's Walter Latham Presents and a 2007 all-star appearance on HBO's Def Comedy Jam. In 2005 he surprised audiences in the film, Getting Played with Vivica Fox, as well as appearing in Something Like a Business, directed by Russ Parr.
Quake gained additional fanfare with his performance on the inaugural installment of the TBS Comedy Festival's Laffapalooza and later he would receive critical acclaim for his Just for Laughs stand-up performance and his appearances on TV One's Roast and Toast: John Witherspoon and the 17th Annual Trumpet Awards.
Earthquake's appearance on the wildly received Shaquille O'Neal's Comedy All-Star Comedy Jam currently rivals his concert DVD release From the Outhouse to the White House as his best performances to date (available on as well as national retail outlets). Recently, Quake has teamed up with NASCAR icon Tony Stewart and Armor All for a television project currently available online. Quake's enjoying his greatest years. His forthcoming HBO special will be taped in the fall.
