Sam Tripoli views comedy as a calling rather a profession. It’s a passion that he’s been preaching to audiences at comedy clubs across the country and on television, including Comedy Centrals’ “Premium Blend” (receiving only one of two standing ovations in the history of the show), a frolicsome turn as a male escort for E! Entertainment’s “Party @ the Palms,” “The Late Late Show on CBS”, “Comic Unleashed” and as a co-host of Spike TV’s “Wide World of Spike,” a comedy-action cult classic. On stage he’s a force of nature, pacing the stage like a cyclone of funny as he questions authority and the conventions of our society one moment, then earnestly expresses his affinity for the bizarre the next. His comedy has no limits – its whatever he’s thinking about, and that’s usually what everyone else is thinking about, even though sometimes we don’t like to admit to it. “I like to think of myself as the little voice in everyone’s head, except I have a microphone and I’m funnier,” Sam says.
Comedian Bernadette Pauley is co-host of “The Gossip Queens,” a daily half-hour television series airing five days a week in syndication as well as host of Comedy.TV, also syndicated. She appears regularly as a guest panelist on HLN'S “The Joy Behar Show” and FoxNews "RedEye w/Greg Gutfeld" and "Megyn Kelly" shows. She's made repeat appearances on VH1, MTV, TBS, Animal Planet, Comedy Central's "Tough Crowd w/Colin Quinn" and has worked with Hollywood director Andy Tennant (HITCH, SWEET HOME ALABAMA), on his “Wedding Album” pilot for FOX. Past hosting projects include hosting Burly TV for Lorne Michaels and "War of The Wives" for Bravo. Between television appearances, she headlines colleges, casinos and comedy clubs throughout the US and internationally and has twice been touted by Student Activities Magazine as a 'Hot Comedy Act to Follow' ('08, '09). Her jokes have been printed in The Huffington Post and The New York Post who has listed her as "The best of New York City Live Comedy" and listed her jokes among the "Funniest of 2010".
Born and raised in Revere, MA in an Irish Catholic Boston neighborhood, she is the daughter of a cab driver and a union steward. After graduating Emerson College with a B.A., she moved to New York and began paying off her education with a string of glamorous jobs including waitress, bartender, paralegal (lasted one day), bathroom attendant, coat check girl, cigarette girl and dog walker. With a resume like that, could she be anything BUT funny? Recently relocated from New York to Los Angeles with her husband and her Chihuahua Buddy, Bernie often wonders where she belongs, in blue collar Revere or Beverly Hills. The answer is both. And neither.
“Her comedy is daring, blunt, honest and hilarious. It is no wonder this comedian is adored at comedy clubs and college campuses."-Amanda Chicoli, The Brooklyn College Excelsior.
“The audience exploded with laughter at her every sentence.”- The Comedy Central Insider
"No such flies on headliner Bernadette Pauley, however. The latest in a summer of American imports to Edinburgh, Pauley’s flawless confidence and no-bullshit attitude make her a sharp, polished performer. Her ability to flit from charming anecdote to viciously biting punchline at a moment’s notice makes her a fascinatingly unpredictable comedian; an animated, emotive spectacle with an innate sense of where the laughs are." - The Journal (Edinburgh, Scotland)
