Roberto Rodriguez:

Roberto Rodriguez is the next fresh face of comedy. With his explosive energy he is able to make every live performance memorable. For the past 8 years one thing defines every performance, “Energy”! Roberto draws on his life’s experiences, family, and general life observations. Growing up Roberto bit an extension cord and as a result was left with a significant scar. To defend against ridicule he developed a quick wit and gift of making people laugh. It wasn’t till he went to a comedy show with a comedy school flyer, that Roberto started his career with the Tempe Comedy College at the Improv in Tempe, Az. From there he continued studying comedy and helped grow the local comedy scene. With only the Improv as a local venue, the school gave him an opportunity to venture out and open other rooms giving more opportunities to hone the skills of Phoenix’s top comics. As the comedy scene grew, Roberto was tapped as a rising star in mainstream comedy. With numerous shows including Latin Comedy Explosion and the Latin Princes’ of Comedy, Roberto has garnered critical acclaim for his detailed characters, voices, and ability to engage the crowd and bring them into his head. After 6 long years Roberto auditioned for and was chosen for the 2007 Latino Laugh Festival. Along with a movie role and star of a short film, he has shown his many diverse talents. Currently touring around the country and performing live in Los Angeles.

Julio Gonzalez:

Julio was a comedian before he even knew it. He was always the funny guy where ever he went. Always trying to make people laugh no matter where he was, be it the back yard party or the grocery store. He was a regular at the comedy clubs not as a comedian but as a fan of comedy. At a company party he sat at a table of all women and had them laughing the entire time. They told him he should be a comedian and he thought: Hey, now there’s an idea!

Still considered new to the comedy world, Julio has built a following with his stage presence, jokes and funny face. Julio’s comedy is based on his experiences from people reminding him he’s fat, to relationships and just having fun with life. He has created a fan base in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura County, Texas, Arizona and Minnesota. His goal is to make everyone laugh. And become famouser!
